Ottumwa Pastor Caught In Lie About Donald Trump

Travis Decker Ottumwa Iowa Baptist Temple

Travis Decker, pastor of the Ottumwa Baptist Temple, took to the streets of Ottumwa, Iowa to declare that LGBTQ Americans are unworthy of legal protections.

“Truth is, you’re born male or you’re born female and really to say you’re something different you’re literally calling God a liar,” he told local reporter Maddie Lee, and then he accused LGBTQ Americans of lying to children.

When a person accuses someone else of lying, there should be evidence of that.

There is ample evidence, for example, that Travis Decker has been lying to the congregants of the Ottumwa Baptist Temple. He’s been telling them that Donald Trump won the presidential election of 2020.

In fact, not a single one of the conspiracy theories claiming that Donald Trump was the winner in 2020 has stood up to scrutiny. Joe Biden won the election, plain and simple.

Biden not only won the Electoral College vote, which was confirmed by the United States Congress, but he won the popular vote as well.

These are simple facts. People are entitled to all kinds of opinions about political issues, but to claim that Joe Biden is not the rightfully elected President of the United States is to tell a bald-faced lie.

Travis Decker is using his position as a Baptist pastor to spread lies. Why would he do that?

Donald Trump did a favor for Travis Decker, elevating him to national prominence as a member of his Iowa Faith Leader Coalition. It seems that Decker got a taste for power, and has become willing to say whatever powerful politicians ask him to say, even if it isn’t true.
